It's National Bean Day!!!!
Some love them all and some only like a few. No matter where you fall on the spectrum, beans are full of nutrients. A good source of protein, fiber, iron, and folate. They are also complex carbohydrates which takes longer for you body to process, unlike processed sugar, so there's less of a spike in blood sugar. Key health benefit to cuddling are increases oxytocin levels which reduces pain, can help lower blood pressure, lower cortisol (stress) levels, and lower anxiety. Cuddle up with a loved one or a fur baby to reap these benefits. Of course the bonus is if you are in an area where its cold, there's body heat to share.
