This weekend I had the opportunity to speak with teens and their families about mental health. Something that holds a very special place in my heart.

At Sunrise Counseling Services, part of our mission is to break the stigma surrounding mental health, and moments like today are a powerful reminder of why that matters.

It was truly heartfelt to see young individuals and their families open to learning, growing, and having these important conversations together. One thing I was reminded of today is that you are never too young to begin understanding and caring for your mental health.

Grateful for the opportunity to be part of this conversation and to continue supporting our community.

I had the opportunity this weekend to lead a training focused on the psychology behind trading performance.

As a therapist, I have spent years helping people understand how stress, pressure, and emotional regulation influence decision making. The trading world is a powerful example of how our mindset can impact outcomes in real time.

What stood out most was the level of engagement and openness from the traders in the room. Conversations around discipline, emotional regulation, and maintaining clarity under pressure are just as relevant in trading as they are in everyday life.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share some of these tools and perspectives. It is always exciting to see people become more aware of how their mindset influences their performance.

For those who asked about continuing this work, I am offering small group and individual Performance Psychology Coaching for traders who want to strengthen focus, discipline, and emotional control in the markets.
