To see the Lords handy work in and through the lives of those who call on his name is an awesome site! We have had the oleasure of celebrating the induction phase completion of two incredible brothers; Ben and Byron. We are thankful for the Lord entrusting them to us and for their perseverance they have displayed through their short comings and adversities. We pray blessings over this next season and for gthem to run with endurance the race that is set before them. Thank you Lord!

How many ways does the Lord show his love to us. We were so blessed to have our 2nd Mile Church family support the men by way of an incredible breakfast they hosted for us here at the campus. And that wasn’t all they all pitched in to help us clean up from the Murfreesboro banquet the night before. Lord thank you for the incredible body of believers you have placed in our life and their willingness to pour into the Lost! 2nd Mile church family we can not thank you enough for the out pouring of love you show the men here. May God continue to bless all your endeavors!

The Lord continues to give us more than we deserve. We had the privilege of supporting Reverend Gene Garcia (ATC intake coordinator) at the annual fund raising banquet in Murfreesboro last night. All the effort in preparation, and a lot of prayer, culminated in an incredible night of testimony, fellowship, and support. Big thanks to all those who showed up and made it a night to remember!

How could you not be thankful when a car show comes to you! We were blessed to have Mitch and the car club he belongs to, Hot Rods and Haulers, come by the campus to support, fellowship, and connect with the men. Even more so Danny shared an incredible testimony of redemption through the car he built in memory of a lost friend and reconciliation of his past. Lord, thank you for the community you have given us! We are eternally grateful!

Yesterday we had our annual banquet for the Clarksville Campus of Adult & Teen Challenge Heartland, and as always God blessed this event! Everything went smoothly and the men did amazing serving and setting up. What an awesome turnout and as always we are so thankful for the Leadership that Bro Adam provides and all the staff at this campus that worked so hard to make this a success! We are so thankful for your continued support as we are working to make a difference in the lives of these men!

We had the joy of celebrating Manny Perez and Steven Reaves graduation from the Adult and Teen Challenge program this past weekend. It was an incredible time of testimony as these two men shared the goodness of the Lord working in and through their lives!

What a wonderful way to celebrate the Lords goodness! We were blessed to have Mitch and Last Century Hotrods and Haulers come support the men after a hard days work with a cook out and some beautiful cars! Lord thank you for all your doing to use the body of believers here in Clarksville. We’re better together and it is on full display!!

Legacy of Faith

Founder David Wilkerson was a Pennsylvania country preacher who came to New York City in an attempt to speak with seven young gang members on trial for murder. He didn’t achieve his goal that day, but he achieved another. Seeing the plight of teens decimated by drugs, he founded Teen Challenge to reach gang members with a message of God’s love. As an epidemic of drug addiction began to reduce the gangs in New York, the fledgling Teen Challenge and Wilkerson adapted to this new reality to help those bound by drug addiction. In 1958 the first Teen Challenge was developed to help residents overcome addictions and to learn to live as drug-free Christians in the real world. Today Teen Challenge offers help to over 28,000 men, women, boys and girls worldwide who face life-controlling problems. In a day when drug abuse and addiction has crossed every geographic, economic, cultural and ethnic barrier, Teen Challenge is a refuge where freedom can be found. Every day God’s love and forgiveness is transforming lives from the inside out. We offer hope for those who have grown up in families and communities where substance abuse creates a spiral of addiction, as well as those who come from stable and loving homes in good neighborhoods. Change can happen. The real story of Teen Challenge is a story about God’s power to change lives. We’ve seen it many times in the lives that have been transformed at Teen Challenge.
