It's been a great week so far here at Holiday Uffelman estates, we're excited to share some of our fun with you for this Hump Day.
Our residents have been busy and loving every minute of it!

They brought their A-game to BINGO, and let's just say... things got competitive! While not everyone walked away winners, they're all winners in our heart. ❤️
We also enjoyed a friendly round of horseshoes and some classic UNO! It's safe to say the competitive spirit is alive and well here!
Today was our out to lunch bunch, and we had a wonderful outing to Liberty Grill for lunch. The food was delicious, and our residents really enjoyed the beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere.

Meet Lila, one of the wonderful servers at Atria La Residence Steger. She brings more than just meals – she brings joy to every table she visits!

With Atria since 2021, Lila is always in a great mood and shares a special bond with residents. "You can always count on Lila for a smile and help. What a ray of sunshine," shares Wendy, one of the residents. Her kindness and bright smile make every mealtime feel like a moment of happiness.

A Grand Re-Opening celebration at Uffelman Estates!

We are thrilled to share the unforgettable moments from our Grand Reopening of Uffelman Estates, where we kicked off the event in style with our Casino Royale social Series! It was a day filled with excitement, laughter, and wonderful memories!
Special Moments:
We were honored to have Mayor Joe Pitts join us to help cut the ribbon, marking this important milestone. His kind words highlighted the incredible value of having a vibrant and welcoming community for our independent senior residents.
We were also delighted to welcome Mayor Wes Golden, who toured our facility alongside Mayor Pitts, taking the time to engage with our residents and capture beautiful memories with photos and running into a few friends from their past. Thank you, gentlemen, for taking time out of your busy schedules to make this day even more special!.
We look forward to many more moments like this, as we continue to grow and serve our Clarksville community and our incredible Uffelman Estate.

Just a few days after moving in, and Kathleen and Arvin are already cutting a rug at Holiday Thornton Place!

Arvin was hesitant to make the move, but he quickly changed his tune. "I love the camaraderie here, the food and all of the people," he shares.

Kjell’s passion is woodworking. ⚒️

Originally from Norway, he came to the U.S. at just 15 and built a life in Seattle. After retiring, he and his wife Marilyn moved into a cottage at Holiday Hidden Lakes to be closer to family.

From piggy banks for his 24 great-grandchildren to handcrafted pens, clocks and birdhouses, Kjell is still an active craftsman. The workshop he set up in the cottage's garage is his happy place, and he’s even made hundreds of small wooden crosses for the community chaplain to share.

Marilyn says, “He’s always happiest in his shop." And with his talent and dedication, it’s easy to see why.

We’re proud to celebrate Bobby, a recent high school graduate who has been part of the Holiday Country Squire waitstaff team since age 15. He's heading off to study nursing at Missouri Western State University.

"One of my favorite parts about working at Country Squire has been having meaningful conversations with our General Manager," Bobby shares. He says these conversations have helped shape his goals for the future.

"He's a wonderful young man who we love," shares Shirley, one of the community's residents. With plans to become a traveling nurse, Bobby is set to make a difference while seeing the world.

Barbara said “yes to the address” at Holiday Country Squire! 🏡

A lover of walks, reading and opera music, she finds joy in life's little pleasures. "Nothing beats a glass of sweet iced tea," she laughs. Born and raised in Kansas, she's excited to live closer to her family.

Let’s give Barbara a warm welcome as she begins this new chapter at Holiday. We’re lucky to have her!

We are gearing up to have our Grand Re-Opening after renovations here at Uffelman Estates. Thursday Sept.18, 2025 from 3pm-5pm. Everyone is welcome. I had a daughter of one of my residents surprise me Sunday with renovations to our garden area, her name is Cheryl Bagwell and I want to send out a HUGE thank you to her for all of her hard work and generosity. All residents are so excited to show off our new building.

Happy Birthday, Marie!🍦

Holiday Pinegate celebrated the 83rd birthday of one of their fabulous Resident Ambassadors with an ice cream social! Residents, friends, neighbors and family enjoyed sweet toppings galore and joined in a game of “How Well Do You Know Marie?” trivia.

"I want to share a huge 'thank you' to everyone who made the day so special," shares Marie. "I'm so glad you all celebrated with me. It was the best birthday I ever had."

Residents at Holiday Quail Run Estates created their own living masterpieces, nesting succulents into layers of soil, sand and rock to make terrariums. "The residents had fun making them," shares Melissa, the community's Engage Life Coordinator.

What a week it's been so far, and we're only on Thursday!!

From fun-filled games to exciting activities , this week has been nothing short of a blast. But today? Today was extra special. 🙌 this morning, we were treated to a heartfelt performance from our very own GM Kim Strange, who serenaded us with some beautiful songs. 🎼 🎶 And just when we thought it couldn't get better, this afternoon we were blessed by the incredible Star Berry! Her gospel voice is nothing short of a gift. We can't wait to have her back next month. 🎼 🎶

Grandparents' Day was extra special this year! Leading up to the celebration, grandchildren dropped off their favorite “stuffies” to stay with residents for the week. The stuffed friends joined in on fitness classes, book clubs and even community outings – and we captured it all in photos to share with their grandchildren.

On Grandparents' Day itself, families reunited for Muffins with Grands, picked up their stuffies and keepsake photo booklets, played backyard games and ended the day with popcorn and a movie together.

It was a celebration of the love, laughter and the impact grandparents have on their families.
