What an inspiring visit today at Town and Country Drugs —the oldest independent pharmacy in Clarksville and a true cornerstone of the community! It’s incredible to see Steve Zaver and his dedicated team continue this legacy with so much innovation, passion, and heart.

We’re especially excited that they’re serving as a pilot site for technician product verification, helping move pharmacy practice forward and enhancing care for their patients. Their commitment to progress is exactly what strengthens our communities.

Due to the storms that came through Friday we are still without power as of Saturday morning. We do apologize for this inconvenience that is beyond our control. We do hope that power will be restored soon and we will be up and running!

Due to the inclement winter weather we will be closing at 4:00pm today. We will open tomorrow, Saturday 12/24, from 8-1. Depending on the road conditions as the temperatures drop and all this freezes the store may open 1 hour late.

Some of the duties and responsibilities that will be required, but not limited to, are:

Preparation of medications for patients
Receiving and verifying the prescriptions
Processing and filling of prescriptions
Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of prescription
Assisting with insurance claims processing
Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
Will be working with automation and the daily process of the machine
Intake of written and electronic prescriptions
Billing insurance
Accurately counting and dispensing medication
Assisting customers with the purchase of their medication
Must have TN Pharmacy Tech license
Experience is preferred within the last 5 year to present within the pharmacy setting
Must be able to work Saturdays and schedules be flexible
Must be reliable and have a good work ethic, and be punctual
Must be able to work independently and have motivation to take tasks upon oneself
