She has this to say about being a hospice nurse for Gentiva Hospice Clarksville. "I'm so grateful to be a part of this amazing and supportive team and to have the opportunity to help individuals and their families work through their life journeys and transitions!

I love being able to shift the care focus to the whole picture of a person to improve quality of life and amplify well-being rather than focusing on lab work, procedures, and 'the numbers' in their charts.

Having a collaborative team approach makes such a difference in our work lives and the lives of our patients/families. I am able to enjoy what I do because I get to ensure people live the rest of their lives, fulfilling their wishes in as much comfort as possible. "

Patty Peppermint was a busy elf collecting stuff for elves for the elderly. If you would like to drop off donations, you can do so at our office. We are located at 226 Uffelman Drive, Clarksville, TN 37043, and we are open 8-5 Monday through Friday.

We would like to wish Bryonna a happy Social Workers Month! Bryonna is an amazing social worker who ensures all of our patient's needs are met, and we are blessed to have her!

Here is Bryonna's answer to why she chose hospice care:

"I graduated from the University of Tennessee Martin in 2022 with my Bachelor of Social Work. I fell in love with social work while taking a gerontology course, and the instructor was a hospice social worker. After that class, I knew I was supposed to be a hospice social worker and assist families in a vulnerable time. It is an honor to be a social worker and advocate!"
