Collaboration and community- it's is what it is all about. I want to give a huge, grateful shout-out to the good people at Tennessee College of Applied Technology Dickson and Clarksville Campus who are creating an adaptive keyboard stand for one of my clients. This is going to be a GAME CHANGER for this person's quality of life! I don't have the words to thank you, Carlos and Wes, and your crew who will be designing this. I cannot wait to see what you create! :)

You asked, so I will answer! :) Due to weather and transportation concerns, we are going to hold off on the Sounding Joy Orff Choir (for adults 22 and over with Intellectual Disabilities) until Monday, March 9. We will meet Mondays 5:30-6:30 PM through Monday, April 27. QR code for registration is coming-- in the meantime, please message me, and I will be glad to e-mail the document!

Good morning! I know, Phil says 6 more weeks of winter, but we've got this! :)
Open as usual, but please park in the FRONT lot (the Herzing University lot), and use the walkway with caution, although it's pretty clear, sanded and salted. Enter through the side door as always.
If you're hesitant about driving in, please remember that remote sessions are always an option, if that can work for you!

We are open! However, the side parking lot where we usually park is not treated yet. Please park in the Herzing University parking lot, and if you have a placard, you're welcome to use the handicapped spaces right in front of the building. The walkways have been treated, thanks to Rob and Leslie,, pastors of The Movement Church, who manage our building so well. So it's business as usual from here on out, but I understand if you are unable or uncomfortable with driving out here. Remember that remote sessions are always available to you, otherwise we'll just make them up as we go! Stay safe, but I hope to see as many of you as possible this weekend and next week! Hang in there! Winter doesn't last forever down here. :-)

Although the main roads are improving, the secondary roads AND the parking lot at MSMT are still pretty treacherous. MSMT will be closed through Thursday, January 29th. Remote sessions are available, so please let me know if you would like a remote session at your regular Thursday time! I will make a decision about Friday and the weekend by tomorrow afternoon. Please stay safe! Sessions can be made up, but YOU are irreplaceable!

Although main roads seem to be improving, secondary roads can be pretty treacherous, still. So with safety in mind, MSMT will be closed again tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27. You DO have the option of remote sessions, so please let me know if you would like to schedule a remote music therapy session at your regular Tuesday time! :)

I hope you're enjoying the Winter Wonderland outside this morning! With that said, though, I am making the decision to close for tomorrow, Monday, January 26. While the main roads may be okay by tomorrow, I know that many of you live on side streets that are not going to be safely passable. So erring on the side of caution, we will cancel music therapy sessions for tomorrow, and I will make a decision about Tuesday by 3 PM tomorrow. Stay safe!
