Midlife has a way of pulling us in ten different directions at once — careers shifting, families growing, caregiving seasons unfolding, and responsibilities stacking in ways we never planned for. Over time, distance forms… even between the people who once felt like home.

In this week’s episode, we’re talking about what it really means to reconnect with someone who mattered. Not unsafe people. Not the ones who drained you. We mean the friend who knew you before everything got so loud. The person who held a piece of your story. The one whose name still brings a little warmth, even after all this time.

We explore why reconnection feels both hopeful and awkward, how it shows up inside your nervous system, and why certain people still make your body exhale.
