Dr. Sites attended Austin Peay State University before graduating in 1949 from Northern Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. In February of 1950, his dream became a reality as he begin his career in Optometry, opening his first office above Sites Jewlers in his hometown of Clarksville, TN. As the years went by, Dr. Sites practice grew rapidly, doubling every five to six years. By 1959, his 42
0 square foot office was simply not big enough to handle his expanding caseload, and he moved to an office at 321 Franklin St. Seven years later, in need of even more room, Dr. Sites designed and built his own office building on Riverside Drive, which was just beginning to be developed. Dr. Jack Sites ensured his legacy by leaving the practice in the capable hands of his family. His daughter, Cynthia Morrison, is a licensed optician and office manager at the current practice, currently owned by Jack's son, Clifton Sites. Sites, O.D. became a partner with his father when he graduated with a doctor of optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1977. After Dr. Jack Sites retired, Clif enlisted the help of fellow Southern college graduate Dr. William Gerald Bosley in 1995 to help with the clinic's growing list of patients. Bill's wife Dr. Emily Bosley O.D. practices at Sites Vision's 2nd location in Elkton, KY. Still a family owned and run practice, Sites Vision is dedicated to upholding the tradition of quality eye care and friendly professional service that was initiated by it's founder. In September 2005, Drs. Bill and Emily Bosley moved to West Virginia to open a practice. At that time, Dr. Brian Murray and Dr. Paula Murray moved here and joined Sites Vision Clinic. Dr. Brian and Dr. Paula graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 1996. They moved here from Kentucky, where they had been practicing for several years. Both Dr. Brian and Dr. Paula see patients at the Clarksville and Elkton locations.
