About Me

I started “Rune in the Moon” originally as a project for Jewelry, Crafts and Home Decor called “Wonderwall Accents” in 2014. I later decided to incorporate more of the things I am passionate about by making my hobby into a unique collection of metaphysical gifts, healing products, aromatherapy candles, and pagan/witchy wares. Most recently I have begun to offer Spiritual Life Coaching, Tarot Readings, and I hosted a LIVE Witch’s Tea Time every Monday evening via Facebook to discuss and answer questions regarding spiritual, pagan, and witchy topics. In October 2019, I officially incorporated and started as a fully launched online store with my own Rune in the Moon, Inc. products. Then, in June 2020, I was given an opportunity to purchase a storefront and from there my dream has come alive! What started out as a hobby over a decade ago, turned into an entrepreneurship and now my whole life! This is my lifestyle and passion, and I appreciate every single person that has supported me through the years, all of your referrals, and your positive reviews!

Now a little about the name.... and why it is important...

I chose the name “Rune in the Moon” because of its symbolism and significance - Runes are magical symbols or divine markings of the gods, used in divination, and were also used in the alphabet of ancient Germanic/Nordic languages, more commonly known as the Elder Futhark alphabet. The rune symbol on my logo is known as a bind rune - a combination of runes that create a symbol used to amplify the intent of its caster. This bind rune amplifies protection of the home or hearth, family, but it is also a symbol of divine wisdom and psychic vision. It has also been known to be related to what some have referred to as “white magic”. The Moon has been a very significant and important symbol for me throughout my life - attracted to its mystery and allure as far back as I can remember. It is a symbol of femininity and transition. It is believed that the phases of the moon symbolize immortality, eternity, enlightenment or the dark side of nature. The moon is a source of stability - it keeps the Earth stable and it also helps farmers to know when it is time for harvest. It has even been hypothesized that the power of the full moon raises tides in the waters and causing an increase of energy, which effects people and animals, sometimes in a somewhat chaotic way - hence the term “Lunatic” or “Lunacy” for its reference to the “Lunar” impact brought on by the moon. So, the combination of the two is my symbolic way of saying “Protection of the Moon” - Protection during transitional phases of life - Protection of the Goddess and Protection of feminine beauty.

I pride myself in my life path, my art, my work, and my creations. I am an independent artist and an avid craftswoman with a strong knowing of magick, energy healing and art therapy. I am a Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner (Energy Healer) and Life Path Coach, which inspires a lot of the items carried throughout my store. I carry a very eclectic variety of items from my own creations as well as fellow local artists that display & sell their artwork.
