- Before band-aids, there was plantain leaf
- Before cold medicine, there was elderberry

- Before disinfectants, there was thyme
- Before antibiotics, there was garlic
- Before pain balms, there was arnica
- Before probiotics, there was sauerkraut
- Before toothache gel, there was clove
- Before scar creams, there was rosehip oil
- Before anxiety pills, there was chamomile
- Before migraine tablets, there was feverfew
- Before muscle relaxants, there was valerian
- Before energy drinks, there was ginseng

Before medicine became manufactured, it was grown.

It’s wild how fast doubt shows up when your baby spikes a fever — even when you know what to do.

I always say fevers don’t scare me — I watch behavior, hydration, and energy more than the number… and this time was no different.

Olivia sat over 103° for almost two days. She was clingy, exhausted, and just not herself. And even when you trust the process, it still hurts to see your child uncomfortable.

Something moms don’t talk about enough?
