I’ve been seeing these little spiky caterpillars all over my passionflower vines this year. It’s the first year I’ve grown them, but the little guys didn’t seem to be hurting it much. This morning the kids and I discovered dozens of these beautiful orange butterflies swarming in the garden. They turned out to be Gulf Fritillary Butterflies and passionflower is their exclusive food source. What a fun thing to find on a beautiful morning. 😍

I purchased the passionflower from Canyons Edge Plants on Mother’s Day! It has done so well in my garden this year. It’s covered an entire trellis arch!
