We had such a great time yesterday at Palo Duro Nursing Home! Our residents got hands-on in the kitchen making pigs in a blanket 🌭 and then enjoyed a lively game of BINGO 🎲

Good food, lots of laughs, and a little friendly competition—honestly, we can’t think of a better day! 😄

☕🎨 Coffee Art Like You’ve Never Seen Before! 🎨☕

Our residents at Palo Duro Nursing Home are taking arts & crafts to the next level—with a little help from coffee! 😄

Using coffee as their medium, they created unique and beautiful artwork while enjoying a fun and creative activity together. It’s amazing to see how something so simple can turn into such a special form of expression!

🧁💙 Sweet Fun at Palo Duro Nursing Home! 💙🧁

We recently worked on our baking skills during a fun cooking class by baking and decorating cupcakes—and they turned out as sweet as they were delicious! 😋✨

Our residents had a wonderful time mixing, baking, and getting creative with the decorations. From colorful frosting to fun toppings, everyone enjoyed showing off their artistic side while making a tasty treat.

Activities like baking are a great way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and of course, enjoy something yummy together! 🧁💚💙💚

We had an exciting Science Day here at Palo Duro Nursing Home—and yes… it included an erupting volcano! How cool is that?! 😲

Our residents had a blast watching the experiment come to life, sparking curiosity, laughter, and lots of fun. Activities like this keep minds engaged and make every day a little more exciting!

🌟 Meet the Team – Palo Duro Nursing Home 🌟

We are proud to highlight Donna Arnold, LVN, our dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)!

Donna has spent the past 27 years caring for others, with most of her career devoted to long-term care, where she has built meaningful connections with residents and their families. She has been part of the Palo Duro Nursing Home family on and off since 2000, a place that has always remained close to her heart. 💚💙💚

Beyond her nursing career, Donna is deeply committed to serving her community. She runs Meals on Wheels in Claude, helping ensure neighbors are cared for, and serves as the Director of the Miss Armstrong County Pageant, where she mentors and inspires young women.

At home in Claude, Texas, Donna shares her life with her husband, Mike, and their four children—June, Jonah, Jacob, and Serenity—who are her greatest pride and joy.

Whether at work, in her community, or with her family, Donna leads with compassion, faith, and a true servant’s heart, making a lasting difference in the lives of so many. We are grateful to have her as part of our Palo Duro team! 💚💙💚
