May is !
This May, we’re supporting Mental Health America in helping people have more good days by meeting them where they are, supporting them as whole people, and recognizing that “good” looks different for everyone.
Some key facts about mental health in the U.S.:
Despite progress in mental health initiatives, nearly 30 million people in the U.S. still lack access to affordable, comprehensive mental health care and substance use treatment.
-1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year.
-1 in 20 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness each year.
-1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6–17 experience a mental health condition each year, but only about half receive treatment.
-50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24.
Let’s have more good days, together.
