Compassion Connections - HEADING TO UKRAINE AUGUST 8-17.
I will be partnering with Baptist on Missions to minister with a medical missions team leaving for Ukraine Aug 8, We will be primarily caring for displaced children and families in areas of refuge in that war torn country. Please pray for God to prepare our hearts to bring hope and healing in Jesus' name.
I plan to leave a donation to continue ongoing efforts to care for those who are suffering and in desperate need of support and encouragement. This past year has been quite an adventure. I'm going to begin featuring some posts of what I'm going to call "HOT SPOTS". It seems that every day we learn how people are hurting in ways unimaginable. Political unrest, senseless and ruthless killings, impacts of generational poverty both in our country and around the world. But there is HOPE and I look forward to taking you with me on a look back at the past year and ahead to how I’ve seen first-hand God bringing hope to some of the “hot spots” in our world today.
