Let's to our Wilmington, NC leader, Frances Danner, and ONE of her co-therapist, Pokey!

Frances completed her bachelor's degree at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her Masterโ€™s of Clinical Mental Health at Liberty University. Frances has worked under Dr. Christina Strayer for two years as an Equine specialist. Dr. Chistina Strayer has inspired her to become an Animal Assisted Therapist and specialize in Equine facilitated psychotherapy.

โ€‹Frances has 15+ years equine experience which included owning and operating a horseback riding lesson program where she offered showing, training and lessons. Frances has worked for the past 10 years with Mane and Tail Therapeutic Horsemanship Academy teaching adults and children with disabilities how to ride.
โ€‹Frances is has her associate's license and uses a client centered approach and offers equine facilitated psychotherapy, animal assisted therapy, nature therapy and in the office therapy.
