Are you one of those people that has said “I really would like to learn how to meditate but I can’t stop thinking!” Or “I have always wanted to know how to meditate” or “I really need to meditate, reduce stress and calm my inner voice!” Well guess what? We are adding meditation classes to ✨🙌🏻✨
Jessica Smith will be leading our meditation classes once per month! Each class will have a theme, 45 minutes and will be a drop in fee of $10. Here is the tentative schedule and themes:
January 15 - Meditation and Mindfulness- an introduction
February 12 - Meditation and Mindfulness - working with thoughts
March 19 - Meditation and Mindfulness- getting to know your internal monologue
April 16 - Meditation and Mindfulness - making friends with change
May 14 - Meditation and Mindfulness - for caregivers
June 4 - Meditation and Mindfulness- living in an aging body
Each class will have the following format. Short 10 to 15 minute talk on the topic, meditation instruction and 30 minutes of guided meditation. There will be props provided, but you are welcome to bring your own meditation pillows.
