Utthita Trikonasana - Extended Triangle Pose
How to Do Utthita Trikonasana
🔺Start in Tadasana (Mountain Pose): Stand tall with feet together.
🔺Step your feet wide: Step your feet about 3-4 feet apart, with your right foot pointing forward and left foot turned slightly inward.
🔺Extend your arms: Raise your arms parallel to the ground, palms facing down.
🔺Reach to the right: Hinge at your hips and reach your right hand down toward your right shin, ankle, or the floor outside your right foot.
🔺Stretch upward: Extend your left arm toward the ceiling, forming a straight line with your right arm.
🔺Keep your chest open: Gaze up toward your left hand or straight ahead if it’s more comfortable.
🔺Hold the pose: Breathe deeply and hold for several breaths, maintaining length and stability.
🔺Switch sides: Rise back up, bring your arms to the starting position, then repeat on the other side.
