This year for Giving Tuesday we are focusing on “Taking Care of Our Herd!” Our horses give so much to our participants and volunteers that come to the farm. We want to give back to them! Whether you want to buy a bag of horse feed, help with the costs of getting their hooves trimmed and new shoes or buy some hay you can make a great impact!
We humbly ask that you consider a gift to Riverside Ranch on Giving Tuesday to help us continue our mission of sharing Christ’s love by supporting individuals with special needs and those navigating grief through community, interaction with horses, and engagement with nature.
Happy Thanksgiving!! ❤️❤️ Thank you God for our many blessings!

As we wind down our lessons for the Fall session, God has given us more than we could ask or hope for. Thank you Lord for your sustaining power, your unending love, and for your Holy Spirit that shines through so many.
Instead of our annual Christmas party this year we will have a Prayer walk in January. Stay tuned for the date ❤️
The tradition of each participant in our Adaptive Horsemanship Program receiving a handmade ornament continues. Thank you to local artist Julie for making beautiful ornaments every year for us.🎄🎄❤️❤️
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers, supporters and donors who help make Riverside Ranch possible. Thank you Jesus!

We are so grateful to have our Fall Women’s grief group retreat today at the Ranch. We shared our grief, we spent time with the horses, we grieved together in community with one another.
God’s presence was felt all day and we soaked in the beauty of His creation in the midst of heavy grief and sadness. Some words that participants shared about the retreat were thankful, peace, serenity, hope and not alone.
God collects every tear.
Thank you to Andrea Eaves with Into the Light counseling for helping us co lead this retreat.
Thank you to a private family fundraiser last year that helped sponsor this retreat.
Thank you Lord for your faithfulness to meet us in our grief and that our pain matters to you.

2 years ago today our sweet boy, our beloved JaRule went to Heaven. We think of you everyday and miss you! Your name is lovingly brought up in many conversations at the ranch and we cherish all the time we had with you. We love you! We know you are enjoying all the peppermints and green grass in Heaven.
For new followers to Riverside Ranch, JaRule was our Executive Director and Founder's personal horse who was part of our Adaptive Horsemanship Program. JaRule helped start Riverside Ranch. He was the very first horse in our programs. He changed countless lives. He truly was a Saint of a horse and had a special and unique bond with so many people. He was one of a kind and he is forever missed here on earth and will be forever remembered in our hearts.
We also want to thank and honor all the Veterans of our country today and every day! We are grateful for your sacrifice and love of your country and fellow Americans. Thank you to all the men and women who have and continue to serve our country!

In the Spring of 2017, God began to shape a dream in Sarah's heart of bringing those who are hurting or isolated from society together. As Sarah took step after step of faith Riverside Ranch began to form. On February 17, 2018 Sarah and her husband Matthew found the perfect place to begin building their dream for the non profit, 36 acres in Clayton, NC.
Sarah is available to meet with individuals and groups to offer hope and healing using nature and animals. Riverside Ranch plans to offer therapeutic riding, connecting individuals with animals and nature. We want to give the opportunity to individuals to benefit from nature and the positive impacts of "Greenspace".
If you would like to donate to help those in need and help us with purchasing the many needs for our day retreat center please contact Sarah Valentine 980-322-7301 or riversideranchnc@gmail.com
