Thank you to the amazing crew from The Church at Clayton Crossings for coming out to serve at Riverside Ranch yesterday!

So much was accomplished!!!

✅ Run in shelter sand and mats leveled
✅ Manure cleared from pastures
✅ Weeds cleared from fence lines on every pasture and around our building
✅ Weeds from arena pulled

The joy of Jesus shines through you all!!❤️❤️

From our most recent newsletter: “This spring session has been full of growth at the Ranch! We have seen growth in participant’s horsemanship skills, communication, compassion, and most importantly, connection with God and His creation. We have seen growth in our community at the Ranch as we see Christ’s love displayed in one another.

For me personally, this spring has been challenging. I was hospitalized with a tick illness in April. I’m home and doing much better than I was, but I’m still fighting it. I ask for your prayers as I continue to get my strength back.”

Today would have been our beloved JaRule’s 23rd Birthday. JaRule is the only horse we have ever had at the Ranch that is registered and that we knew his birthday. ❤️🥳🐴

Beau, Benny, and Bear are not registered and we don’t know their exact birthday so today we will celebrate all our horses birthdays! Beau is 30! (We thought he was younger but the equine dentist confirmed 30 through the age of his teeth.) Benny is 12, and Bear is 11.❤️❤️❤️

Happy Birthday in Heaven, JaRule! Happy Birthday to Bullet! He would have been 20 this year! We miss our boys in Heaven and are grateful for our boys on Earth!❤️🙏🏻

How it all began...

In the Spring of 2017, God began to shape a dream in Sarah's heart of bringing those who are hurting or isolated from society together. As Sarah took step after step of faith Riverside Ranch began to form. On February 17, 2018 Sarah and her husband Matthew found the perfect place to begin building their dream for the non profit, 36 acres in Clayton, NC.

Sarah is available to meet with individuals and groups to offer hope and healing using nature and animals. Riverside Ranch plans to offer therapeutic riding, connecting individuals with animals and nature. We want to give the opportunity to individuals to benefit from nature and the positive impacts of "Greenspace".
