International Women’s Day and Women's History month reminds me that none of us arrive here alone.
My mother named me Kelli. The meaning of my name is warrior, bright-headed, lively, and determined. I embody this name in the work I do every day.
I have the privilege of living into a vision where the work of my hands can create something better for other people. Spaces that restore. Spaces that support how people live, heal, and grow.
This month, I celebrate the enormity of women. Our leadership. Our resilience. Our creativity. Our willingness to build something not only for ourselves, but for those who come after us.
May we trust ourselves more.
May we lift one another.
May we create new doors of opportunity.
Because we owe it to ourselves.
We owe it to the ancestors.
And we owe it to those who are watching us, believing that their dreams are possible too.
