Designing spaces that restore, inspire & support whole-person well-being

Sanctuary is a holistic health and lifestyle practice designed for professional women who seek to live intentionally and show up powerfully in every area of their lives. Rooted in the philosophy that intentionality is where true power lies, Sanctuary integrates spiritual, physical, experiential, and spatial wellness to help women thrive in their bodies, spaces, and roles. The business offers tailo

red fitness, health, wellness, interior decor, and personal styling services, creating a space where women can elevate their well-being, confidently embrace their purpose, to ultimately seize their power. Key offerings include health and wellness assessments, functional medicine, fitness and diet plans, personal styling, curated interior spaces, and even a personal chef for meal prep. Launching in January 2025, Sanctuary is more than a wellness practice—it's a transformative journey to empower women to live fully and intentionally.

We’re excited to share that SanctuaryIAM is now a fiscally sponsored program of Build Missouri Health.

This partnership allows us to extend our work into more communities and support organizations that are doing meaningful work but may not always have access to design services.

At SanctuaryIAM, we believe your environment matters. The spaces where you live, work, learn, and recover directly impact your well being.

We’re currently working with schools, transitional housing, and community developers, and we’re continuing to grow.

We also work with individuals and families who want their homes to better support how they live and feel every day.

If you’ve been thinking about your space differently, or you’re part of an organization that wants to, we’d love to connect.

Owning a home is one thing.
Protecting it is another.

Many people don’t realize that a will alone may not protect your home or assets from probate.

Real stability requires planning.

We’re proud to share this upcoming session from our valued partner, St. Joseph Housing Initiative, focused on estate planning for homeowners and those on the path.

At SanctuaryIAM, we believe wellness extends beyond the physical space. It includes what you build, what you protect, and what you pass on.

Because sanctuary is not just where you live.
It is everything you steward.

(See details below to register)

Are you a Homeowner or on the path to purchasing your first new home? Protecting your investment through estate planning is an essential step. Led by Katina Vincent of Elite Title and Kurt Schmid Attorney at Law, this class will cover title, wills and trusts, and all that goes into securing your most valuable asset—your home. Register class via the Homeowner Readiness Academy application on SJHI’s website (indicate Next Steps: Estate Planning in your application) or email Annie at apurcell@stjosephhousing.org

We are still in the Easter season.
And resurrection is not just something we celebrate. It is something we practice.

In how we care for ourselves.
In how we rebuild our lives.
In the environments we choose to live, work, and heal in.

At SanctuaryIAM, we believe space is not neutral.
It either supports your renewal or works against it.

This season is a reminder
you are allowed to begin again
intentionally, fully, and with support.

Because sanctuary is not outside of you.
It is something you embody and then create.

It’s always a great experience working with these brilliant students.

In our current collaboration with architecture students from WashU Sam Fox School of Design at Washington University, they are presenting research-informed design concepts that SanctuaryIAM is translating into a new project.

And it continues to affirm this:

Space is not just aesthetic. It is physiological.

At SanctuaryIAM, we are working to design environments that support how people feel, function, and live every day.

This week, we walk in BIG.

A life that is full does not happen by accident.
It is created through what we choose to protect.

Your time.
Your body.
Your peace.
Your presence.

What is non-negotiable for you this week?

Wellness interiors in motion.

SanctuaryIAM is honored to support the transformation of a former hospital into a medical respite environment for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Across one floor, 17 rooms will hold 30 beds. Designed for rest, dignity, and recovery.

These images reflect the space in its early phase. Transformation underway. Because healing is shaped not only by care, but by environment.

Proud to partner in what is becoming Three Steps Home, formerly Bridge of Hope Ministries.

Inside Wellness Interiors

SanctuaryIAM will be at the St. Charles Home Builders Show this April.

At our booth we will be sharing how wellness interiors can support the way people actually live in their homes.

We will be highlighting several services we provide for households navigating real life needs.

• Aging in place design
• Multi generational living
• Designing homes for different abilities
• Petite Retreats. One room transformations without breaking the bank

If you plan to attend the show, stop by and say hello.

If you cannot attend but one of these areas is something you have been considering, we would be happy to connect and explore how SanctuaryIAM can help.

Inside Wellness Interiors

Early mornings. Late nights. Pitch deck writing.

Wellness interiors itself is not new. Many high end homes, hospitality environments, and healthcare spaces already consider how lighting, materials, air quality, and spatial layout influence our physiology and how our brains respond to space.

The gap is accessibility.

Much of this work remains concentrated in projects with significant design budgets.
SanctuaryIAM focuses on bringing these design principles into homes, workplaces, schools, and community spaces across the often overlooked middle market.

Because environments that support how people live, learn, and work should not be limited to spaces with the highest capital investment.

Do you have a room that never quite came together the way you hoped?

Sometimes a space feels piecemeal instead of intentional.

The good news is that transforming a room is not about breaking the bank. It is about thoughtful choices.

Paint, lighting, placement, and a few curated pieces can completely change how a space looks and how it feels to live in it.

At SanctuaryIAM, we approach design through the lens of health and well being first. Aesthetic is simply the byproduct.

If you have a space that needs clarity and intention, we would love to help you curate it.

What room in your home or office still feels unfinished?

International Women’s Day and Women's History month reminds me that none of us arrive here alone.

My mother named me Kelli. The meaning of my name is warrior, bright-headed, lively, and determined. I embody this name in the work I do every day.

I have the privilege of living into a vision where the work of my hands can create something better for other people. Spaces that restore. Spaces that support how people live, heal, and grow.

This month, I celebrate the enormity of women. Our leadership. Our resilience. Our creativity. Our willingness to build something not only for ourselves, but for those who come after us.

May we trust ourselves more.
May we lift one another.
May we create new doors of opportunity.
Because we owe it to ourselves.
We owe it to the ancestors.
And we owe it to those who are watching us, believing that their dreams are possible too.

More families are choosing multigenerational living as a long term strategy.

For aging parents.
For adult children.
For wealth building.

But the layout of the home determines whether that decision creates stability or strain.

Well planned suites, secondary entries, accessible bathrooms, and defined zones are not luxuries. They are structural decisions.

If your family is considering living under one roof, thoughtful planning early can prevent costly redesign later.

SanctuaryIAM is currently accepting design consultations for families planning renovations, additions, or property transitions to support multigenerational living.

Across the country, multigenerational living is rising again. Not as a fallback, but as a strategy. Families are choosing to live together for many reasons. Aging parents need thoughtful support. Adult children are navigating an unpredictable housing market. Some households are intentionally pooling...
