Emily Skin Soothers have just made their way into the clinic.  Created by an Acupuncturist (and father) who wanted to help his daughter with her skin issues.  The products have since expanded, and there products help with:

Our feet are the root of our spirit. They keep us grounded, take us home, and carry us through it all. These relaxing foot soaks are rich in antioxidants and herbs, and help to unpack the pressure often accumulated in the soles and heels of our feet.

Pictured is our relaxing Chinese Herbal Medicine relaxing foot soak. Each soak includes lavender, peppermint, chamomile, rose petals, magnesium, sea salt, baking soda, and optional essential oils. These ingredients are calming, relaxing, stress reducing, boosts circulation, softens skin and callouses, reduces and fights odor, soothes irritated skin, rejuvenates tired feet, and hydrates dry skin.

These are currently only offered as an add on service. They include a relaxing scalp and ear massage while your feet soak, and end with reflexology - a relaxing and rejuvenating wellness treatment that utilizes the feet as an entire microsystem, working to eliminate overworked pressure points, as well as freeing the flow of energy throughout the body. These points relate to parts, organs, and glands in the body and when stimulated, helps restore balance, reduce stress, relieve tension, and promote self healing.

With so much sickness going around, it’s the perfect day for an herbal CEU with and my immunity herbs from . Herbal formulas aren’t usually known for their flavor being the best, but are well known for being very effective (however, this is delicious)!

This herbal formula (Yu Ping Feng San/Jade Windscreen) is great for boosting immunity and best taken daily (takes a month to become effective) and I’m loving the flavor! I mixed it with warm water and it’s the perfect flavor to sip slowly.

Finally got my hands on these samples! I can’t wait to try them so I can start prescribing them to patients. I would never ask a patient to do something I wouldn’t do, or prescribe a brand of herbs I haven’t tried myself. I’ve heard Dao Labs are amazing, so I’m looking forward to adding them to my clinic!
