Osteoarthritis
Tendonitis

How PRP injections work
Plasma is rich in platelets. Platelets contain growth factors in concentrations much higher than naturally occur in the blood. These growth factors increase joint lubrication, and accelerate and boost healing by increasing the available healing cells to the location of pain or injury. This allows your body to heal faster and more efficiently. These healing cells can generate new tissue and repair damaged tissues along with lubricating the joints.
How many do I need?
Depending on the level of damage or injury, you may need 1-3 treatments with PRP separated by 6 weeks each.
Benefits of PRP over other treatments
PRP is safe and has no chance of allergic reaction because you are using your body’s own fluids
Effects are often seen within the first few weeks of treatment
No need for an invasive surgery or long recuperation time
Takes less than 30 minutes
May decrease your need for long term medication to control the pain and detrimental side effects of those medications
Natural treatment
