🙏Help us thank the United Methodist Church, Clear Lake, IA Endowment Committee for their incredible generosity! Their $20,000 gift to One Vision will support renovations on our new Clear Lake home.

Despite the winter chill, One Vision's 13th Annual Lights On 5K Run/Walk filled the Clear Lake Athletics & Wellness Center with holiday cheer, glowing lights, and plenty of smiles. ✨ Nearly 200 community members gathered for the Lights On 5K, Candy Cane Fun Run, Santa’s Workshop, and a festive bake sale—raising more than $13,000 to purchase holiday gifts for over 130 individuals supported by One Vision who otherwise would not have received gifts. 💚

The night was full of joy, laughter, and meaningful moments—and the photos captured it all! 🙏 Thank you to our sponsors, participants, volunteers, and supporters who made this special evening possible.

Spring 2024 marked an important milestone in One Vision’s history.

From the very beginning, our campus-based services—originally known as Handicap Village—set the standard for supporting people with disabilities. Over time, as individuals thrived in more home-like settings, it became clear that community-based living—rooted in choice, independence, and connection—was the path forward. 💚

That evolution came full circle in spring 2024, when the final resident from our Clear Lake campus transitioned into a community home. Today, the people we support are thriving as part of the communities of their choice—living, working, and building meaningful connections across north and central Iowa.

This milestone wasn’t about closing doors—it was about opening new ones. An opening to greater independence, stronger community connections, and continued progress toward a more inclusive future. 🤝

Molly has been part of the One Vision family for an incredible 18 years! She’s known for her “jump-in and help” attitude—and she truly lives it! Recently, Molly stepped up to cover an overnight shift with just one day’s notice at a home she hadn’t even worked in before. Now that’s dedication! 🙌

Her positive, willing spirit doesn’t go unnoticed and is appreciated by everyone who works alongside her. 💚 Thank you, Molly, for everything you do to support people with disabilities as they pursue their best lives.
