Oh, what a delight it is having the windows open! Even the clients love the breeze and the ambient sounds of the weather, the neighborhood...
I put in ten years at an office without windows and it hadn't occurred to me until I'd left what a closet that was! I don't think I could ever do it again.

When tools and décor start disappearing from the office, certain kinds of services are discontinued, and aspects of my own appearance change, it does not go unnoticed by clients. As much as I prefer to keep my personal life private, it is true that no one lights a lamp just to put it under a basket.
Spirit-Hands was established so that I might honor the Great Spirit by serving others, but when my understanding of God and how I am to truly honor Him changes, so too must the way I serve others. As scary (and painful) as the process has been, it's proving over and over that the more of myself I surrender for the love of Him, the more grace pours into my life. He is love and mercy, He is faithful to His promises, and He will hold me fast. I'm being called to step out more boldly than I'm comfortable with, but that's another thing of which to let go I suppose.
