Hello! A little about me, my name is Amanda Ray. I was born in Missoula, Montana. Raised in Lander, Wyoming and Heber City, Utah. I have completed Massage Therapy school, Trained under a Hawaiian Kahuna, I was raised inside of a Funeral Home and in that industry. Which lead me on my path of learning about our body, mind, and soul. Here are a few labels used to describe the work i perform.

The meaning of a hummingbird visit
Hummingbirds have a long history of folklore and symbolism in native cultures. The Aztecs saw them as messengers between them and their ancestors or the gods. In Native American culture, hummingbirds are seen as healers and bringers of love, good luck and joy.

Native American symbols are geometric portrayals of celestial bodies, natural phenomena and animal designs. Native American bird and animal symbols and totems are believed to represent the physical form of a spirit helper and guide. The meaning of the Hummingbird symbol was to signify peace, love and happiness.

The wings of the hummingbird flutter in a specific pattern that resembles the number ‘8’ or the symbol of infinity. This characteristic is depicted as the symbol of eternity, continuity, or infinity.

As a totem, and because of its ability to fly backwards, the hummingbird reminds us that we should reflect on our past, but not get stuck in it; we have to move forward. The bird urges us to be persistent in life, and to never give up. The hummingbird also reminds us that balance is the key; we must find harmony in our lives in order to be truly happy.
