The devastation of addiction is heart breaking

Prosecutors have charged the parents of a 2-year-old San Francisco girl with murder after the toddler allegedly ingested fentanyl left within her reach, marking a first-of-its kind case for a district attorney who vowed to seek maximum penalties against those who supply the drugs that cause fatal overdoses.

The charges against Michelle Price and Steve Ramirez were tacked onto existing child endangerment cases against the parents, which prosecutors filed shortly after Stevie Price’s overnight death on Feb. 12.

District Attorney Brooke Jenkins told the Chronicle Wednesday that the murder counts were added after further investigation indicated the parents were “fully aware of the dangers of fentanyl.” Read more at the link in our bio.

Each year, The Harbor Youth Resource Center hosts an Annual Pride Prom for youth ages 14–25 — a night of celebration, community, and belonging for LGBTQ+ youth and allies. For many young people, traditional school proms don’t feel safe or welcoming, which can leave them feeling excluded. Pride Prom creates a space where youth can feel seen, valued, and celebrated.

What being referred to LA for treatment means...

You have been sold for $1000 by your friends who claim to have found the way and their recovery is amazing!!

NEWS FLASH being sold by your friend for a $1000 is not acceptable. It is a crime, Patient Brokering and Kickbacks are illegal!!!

Some have said the paid vacation is amazing...
but the other end is not pretty: the rejection, fear and other feelings when you realize you were only valuable until your illegally purchased insurance was up.

If it has happened to you, I am sorry. You are a victim of a crime and you did not deserve it.

Vulnerable have been hurt... this is not recovery... there is nothing right kind or good about it! It is wrong! The few it might work for are not worth the many that are hurting!
