This was Saturdays sunset practice on Sand Key beach. Roger enjoys taking photos of my practice. Since my attitude towards yoga is to make beauty, Roger’s photography skills are definitely appreciated. PS the sunset photo was not staged; that’s all Roger!

Hello! I'm Dr. Michael Ward and I'm here to talk about TMD/TMJ and jaw related conditions I treat naturally at the Jaw Pain Center in Raleigh, NC.

Your jaw (TMJ) is the most used joint in your body! Patients with TMJ problems can experience recurring pain in the face, jaw, neck, shoulders, upper back, and experience both tension-style and/or trigger-point pain referral headaches. These symptoms can be debilitating.

Other complications often associated with TMD include:
• Grinding your teeth
• Bite misalignment
• Injuries to the jaw or face
• Arthritis and other joint conditions

TMD is an abbreviation for TMJ disorders or dysfunction. The severity of TMD depends on the underlying problem and how long it is left untreated.
• Tooth pain from bruxism (clenching teeth)
• Chronic headaches & migraines
• Popping or clicking jaw
• Limited jaw mobility
• Earaches or a clogged ear feeling
• Persistent ear ringing without stimulus (tinnitus)
