It’s always a good day to be a we**ie in a blanket 💖

Nya, our spry and charming little dachshund friend, came in today to have further diagnostics done on some concerning masses that had popped up recently.
We were able to quickly sedate and perform biopsies to send out. At nearly 17 years old, Nya’s protocol for sedation and anesthesia has to be so carefully tailored. She soared through her minor procedure with no issues and woke up beautifully!

This is an example of what we can do for any pet no matter their age thanks to the skilled members of our team.

We love you Nya, thanks for being such a champ today!

Lizzie is not a fan of the cold weather, so she showed up to work in her dragon pajamas today. 😂

We will be closed at 3pm today, closed tomorrow, and open again on Friday to celebrate the new year with you all.

Today we wanted to bring awareness to a common but very serious emergency often seen in cats.

Meet Juno. 🩵 This smart, handsome boy had somehow gotten into hair ties without his family knowing how; they’ve always been so diligent at keeping these things away from him because they know the risks of ingesting something like this.

After profuse and constant vomiting last night and severe lethargy, his family called right when we opened to let us know what was going on. We got Juno in right away, ran diagnostics, and found foreign material on imaging. Luckily we could rearrange Dr. Volkers’ schedule and accommodate the emergency surgery this sweet boy needed today.

We are happy to report that Juno did incredibly well in surgery and recovering from anesthesia. We wish him all the luck this weekend in recovering and can’t wait to see him on Monday 💖

Foreign body obstructions are a common emergency in dogs and cats alike. When in doubt, get your kiddo in to the vet ASAP if you think they may have ingested something they shouldn’t have!

Loki discovered a use for the infamous e-collar. It can turn your blanket into a hooded sweater! 💖

This sweet boy is a long time friend of ours who had a dental and eyelid mass removal today. He handled everything today like he always does - with lots of kisses and bravery.

We love you Loki!
