Have you ever seen a more stunning trio of handsome young puppers?? 🥹

Over the last several weeks we were fortunate enough to become aquainted with this family of three - meet Blue, Gator, and Crunch! 💙🐊🦷

Our medical assessment so far:
✔️ 100% good boys
✔️ 0% personal space awareness
✔️ Mild case of “can't hold their lickers”

Triple the trouble and three times the fun! We are so happy to have these three as official members of the Furry Friends family 🥰

Meet the newest member of the Furry Friends family, Molly!

Molly was the best way to kick off the week as our very first patient today.
Also, she’s not a regular cat - she’s a limited edition orange queen ✨

Female orange cats are actually fairly uncommon and kind of like unicorns. This is because the gene for orange fur is located on the X chromosome. Males only need one gene to be orange (XY), while females need to inherit the gene from both parents. Cats who have inherited only one orange gene from one parent may be tortoiseshell or calico.
So Molly’s mother would have had to have been orange and her mother would have had to have been orange or tortoiseshell. Genetics are cool! 😎

Chata came in feeling yucky but left with a smile 🥹

Chata came to visit us today for an ear infection that was making her feel just awful. Even with previous illnesses we’d never seen her so down!

After lots of TLC, a thorough ear flushing and meds, miss Chata started feeling better. At the end of her visit she was starting to act like her crazy happy self 💖

We love a good rescue 🥹 Meet the newest member of FFVC, Chief!

Chief came to us as a new friend after recently being rescued in rough shape. Since being with his new momma, he has gained 11 pounds and is so, so, so happy. He is learning that the world is a good place and he is loved.

Gracie is our newly hired emotional support shoulder puppy! 🥹

Nurse Bryan was on a phone call when he saw Nurse Jonie walking by with Gracie. He snatched Gracie up and continued his phone call. I mean…who could let a face like this just walk past?!

You ever just go to the vet and think “man this is cozy!” Apparently Dolly does 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dolly came to visit us today for a UTI and was soooo happy laying in the positioning pillow. We use this pillow or “trough” to comfortably and safely position pets for radiographs or, in Dolly’s case, a procedure called cystocentesis.

This involves your doctor inserting a sterile needle directly into the bladder for urine collection.

Dolly would have laid here all day if we hadn’t asked her to please get up to go back to her momma!
