Torticollis can be acquired or congenital. Acquired is later in life but sometimes as early as 4 months. Usually the causes are not serious but you should always have your baby seen to make sure nothing serious is causing torticollis.

New research questions link between fluoride in drinking water, lower IQ levels in children
NBC News (1/6, Edwards) says, “A new report once again raises the question of whether there is a link between fluoride in drinking water and lower IQ levels in children.” The research “is a review of 74 other studies exploring how the mineral may affect children’s IQ levels.” The research “found a statistically significant association between higher fluoride exposure and lower children’s IQ scores.” The analysis “showed that ‘the more fluoride a child is exposed to, the more likely that child’s IQ will be lower than if they were not exposed,’ Kyla Taylor, author of the study and a health scientist at the National Institute of Environmental Health Studies at the National Institutes of Health, wrote in an email.” The findings were published in JAMA Pediatrics.

There are three types of frenulums: lingual under the tongue,maxillary between the gum and upper lip and buccal between the lower lip and gum. Only the lingual one should be addressed for tongue ties.
Tongue ties can interfere with breast feeding but you should see a lactation specialist first before rushing to have that frenulum cut. Complications of frenotomies can include bleeding and scarring. Many times this procedure is not necessary.

Good morning mommas I hope all of a you are safe and recovering from the storm, we were in zone A and have pretty much lost everything. Beds floated away refrigerator floated away walls are all swollen and I do t even know where to begin on recovery from all this I have a 19moth old daughter and an 8 year old son aswell as our cat and dog were all safe thankfully but that’s it.
If anyone has things like girls clothes she can pretty much make anything 12-24 months work , boys clothes size 8/10 , bed sheets (king size) , batteries , wipes and diapers , cat or dog food , sippy cups / toddler cups , kids shoes size 5.5/6c or kids 2/3 especially rain boots so they can manage being at the house with us while cleaning up we’re basically starting over from scratch and I just don’t even know where to start
