John and Randall Clark, have been educating professionals through seminars, scientific publications, and speaking events for years. The therapy methods have been so successful that there is a shortage of highly trained therapists to treat patients suffering from pain syndromes. CNS responds to this need by providing a comprehensive program that allows students to work while preparing for their new career through a combination of lecture, hands-on practice, clinical practice, and community outreach. The faculty members of CNS bring their expertise in NST and proven instruction methods together to provide a one-of-a-kind educational experience.

💥 Concussion Recovery: How Neurosomatic Therapy Helped One Woman Find Relief from Post-Concussive Syndrome 🧠

Concussions are far more complex than once believed. To effectively treat persistent symptoms, a multidisciplinary approach—including neuropsychological testing, pharmacological intervention, counseling, and Neurosomatic Therapy—is often required.

💡 The Challenge
Meet Susan, a 65-year-old woman who developed Post-Concussive Syndrome after a car accident. Five years later, she still struggled with brain fog, difficulty concentrating, and poor sleep, making everyday life difficult.

👐 The Approach
Over 5 weeks, Susan received 8 Neurosomatic Therapy sessions performed by a student therapist. Each session aimed to address muscular tension, structural cranial balance, cervical alignment, and dural tube mobilization to improve neurological function.

📊 The Results? Notable Improvement!
✅ Improved sleep quality
✅ Better concentration and less brain fog

🌟 Why This Matters
Susan’s case underscores the value of Neurosomatic Therapy in concussion recovery, especially when dealing with persistent symptoms like brain fog and poor sleep. While improvement wasn’t reflected in every measure, many patients find significant relief in ways that enhance their quality of life.

💡 Want to make a difference in concussion recovery? Train to be a Neurosomatic Therapist at the Center for Neurosomatic Studies and help patients like Susan reclaim their lives!

💥 Scoliosis & Back Pain Relief Through Neurosomatic Therapy 💥

For many individuals, scoliosis isn’t just about the curvature of the spine—it’s about the pain and discomfort that comes along with it. This is the case for a 25-year-old engineer who’s been dealing with chronic back pain since her teenage years. Despite being young, active, and participating in weight lifting and strength training, she struggled with consistent discomfort. Could Neurosomatic Therapy offer a solution?

💡 The Challenge
Our patient has a family history of scoliosis and experiences persistent back pain that intensifies with physical activity. Upon evaluation, she showed a pelvic tilt and abnormal pelvic flexion, which contributed to her ongoing pain. Specifically, the lumbar spine and muscles responsible for pelvic flexion were identified as areas of concern.

👐 The Approach
Over the course of her treatment, the Neurosomatic Therapist focused on:
✔️ Releasing hypertonic muscles around the lumbar spine
✔️ Targeting muscles involved in pelvic flexion
✔️ Using 84 measurements to assess body posture and identify structural distortions
✔️ Incorporating Back Bournemouth and Quadruple Visual Analogue Scales to track pain levels and perceived progress

📊 The Results? Positive Change
✅ Significant pain relief after just one session
✅ Improved pelvic positioning and lumbar flexibility
✅ Decreased pain levels as recorded on both pain scales

🌟 Why This Matters
This case highlights how Neurosomatic Therapy can effectively treat back pain caused by scoliosis and postural distortions in an active individual. By targeting specific muscular tensions and addressing structural imbalances, we can help reduce pain and improve quality of life for those with scoliosis.
