Due to a devastating fire, Fairwinds Treatment Center has ceased operations until further notice.

Thanks to the swift and heroic actions of our dedicated staff, all patients were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. We are deeply grateful for the courageous efforts of the Clearwater, Largo, Safety Harbor, Dunedin, and Seminole Fire Rescue Squads, as well as the Clearwater Police Department.

As we assess the damage and determine our next steps, we are truly thankful for the continued support of our community during this challenging time.

In this video, Dr. Kyle Stephens highlights how eating disorders can appear differently in men, often driven by an intense focus on muscle building, extreme dieting, and sometimes the misuse of supplements. Although the signs may vary from traditional female presentations, the risks are just as serious, affecting every major body system. Dr. Stephens explains that these unhealthy behaviors have risen dramatically in recent years, largely due to social pressures and misconceptions. At Fairwinds, we specialize in treating males with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating—because it’s never too late for men to seek help and begin the path to recovery.
