Over the last 25 years, the Morton Plant Mease Foundation has granted over $200 million. To put your gift in perspective, our hospitals would have to earn close to $2 billion at a 5 percent margin to net the amount that the more than 7,000 donors have collectively contributed.

We are proud to support stroke care at Morton Plant Hospital. Philanthropy provided a grant for a new Interventional Radiology Lab where this patient received care during his stroke!

He is now benefitting from a new treatment offered at Morton Plant that helps stroke patients regain hand and arm function that seemed permanently lost. The treatment pairs an implanted device with intensive physical and/or occupational therapy. Learn more: https://ow.ly/YBWO50WOeGU.

Congratulations to Sandra for receiving the BEE Award. This special team member demonstrates exceptional presence and care for her patients. Recently, Sandra recognized a patient's seizure aura, placed the patient in a wheelchair and was able to prevent the patient being injured during the seizure. In another instance, when a patient became upset, Sandra instinctively closed doors to protect the safety of other patients during the crisis. Her focus and quick thinking in both situations highlight her outstanding dedication and intuitive caregiving. 🐝🩺❤️
