I had a fun time making these matching friendship bracelets yesterday 😁

It's great when I can work with people to create exactly what they're after. 👍

I had some more fun experimenting with h**p tying today. I really like how these hybrid bracelets are turning out. It's a great mix of durability with the elastic, and the classic h**p look. This one is opalite with some ametrine free form beads.

Opalite is man-made, but I accidentally bought it so I figured I'd use it up experimenting. If you like the way they look, check out moonstone which (in my opinion) is much better looking. Ametrine is really cool because it's a mix of amethyst and citrine. People use for spiritual clarity, creativity, mental stability and confidence. Pretty much whatever you need it to do. 🙂👍

I think I've finally figured it out!
Hybrid elastic and h**p so it's durable with no visible clasp or wasted space.

I'm calling this one the "Peacekeeper". It's made from larimar, chrysocolla, amazonite, moonstone, and blue lace agate. All are associated with calmness, stress relief, and acceptance and they look pretty dang nice together😁👍

Still working on figuring out the completed sizing because the knots squish a bit when I tie off the elastic. This one ended up being a snug 7".

A couple more experiments using h**p in the designs but I'm not super happy with the functionality and durability of these. I can only fit thin strands through the holes and re-drilling each stone isn't feasible so I worry they'll wear out quickly. I'm toying with ideas for a hybrid h**p-elastic version so it can still be stretched over your hand and won't have a gap for the adjustment cord.

Any suggestions?

It's safe to say my first attempt at h**p cording bracelets was a bit rough, but you never truly fail at something until you quit trying! This one's just a great example of how NOT to do something. 👍

Hey everyone! Since we finally got the design app up and running correctly, I figured I had better make a "How To" video!

Not exactly commercial quality, but not too bad. We'll get something more refined and sophisticated out there someday for you all.

Fun facts:

Amethyst gets its name from the ancient Greek word “amethystos” (ἀμέθυστος), which means “not drunk” or “not intoxicating.” This name reflects the belief in ancient Greek culture that amethyst could prevent intoxication.

Before the 18th century, amethyst was as valuable as diamonds! Its stunning purple hue made it a favorite among royalty and clergy. But after large deposits were found in Brazil, it became more widely available—and thankfully, more affordable!

Hey folks! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is enjoying the weekend!

We've been working through a couple technical issues with the website but the repairs are almost finished and the customizer will be better than I hoped!

I'm the meantime, I've added a review section for new purchases but would like to ask a big favor from anyone who has gotten a bracelet from me in the past. It would really mean a lot if you could help me out with a review, (good or constructive criticism) that I can use on the home page. You can message me through Facebook, or shoot me an email at info@stonevirtue.com

Thanks for all your continued support!
