Yesterday, our Founder, Jim Rudolph, had an incredible experience. He was a guest at Live Oak Farm where they have been tasked with training the Arlington Caisson Horses and riders. The picture you see with the “practice” casket is the actual caisson that carried President Jimmy Carters casket. The “new” caissons being built have brakes, independent suspension are much lighter, and a gold star added recognizing the Space Force. The horses are taught to walk at just the right speed. They have crowd noise and real cannons to simulate the Arlington experience. They even had a flattened umbrella in the road just like if one blew out of a mourners hand. So the horses when they finally make it to the “show” have literally seen it all. People wonder how General Schwarzkopf and General Powell defeated Sadam Hussein in 100 hours? It was planning and training. I personally saw that commitment to training yesterday.

It was our honor to celebrate the life of George Hecht. He loved military vehicles, he loved making models of military vehicles and Navy ships with his model club. His buddies showed up at yesterday’s memorial service and filled the parking lot with what he loved. We will miss you George!

Since 2000, the team has been providing families with personalized funeral planning. Each event is uniquely designed to match customs and traditions.
