🇺🇸 Happy Birthday, American Legion! 🇺🇸
Since 1919, the American Legion has stood as a pillar of support for our nation’s veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Through service, advocacy, and community involvement, they continue to make a lasting difference.

Today, we honor the generations of men and women who have served our country, and the organizations that work tirelessly to support them.

“Only people who are capable of loving strongly can also suffer great sorrow, but this same necessity of loving serves to counteract their grief and heals them.”
— Leo Tolstoy

Grief is the price we pay for deep love. The depth of our sorrow reflects the depth of our connection. While loss can feel overwhelming, the very love that causes our pain is also what sustains us in memories, in stories, in the bonds that never truly break.

If you are carrying grief today, may you also feel the love that remains. And if you need support, a listening ear, or guidance, we are here for you.

Today, we honor the legacy of the Four Chaplains, four U.S. Army chaplains who gave their lives in an extraordinary act of courage, unity, and selflessness during World War II. 🕊️🇺🇸

As the troop ship USAT Dorchester sank, these men put others before themselves, offering comfort, prayers, and hope in the face of unimaginable fear. Their actions remain a powerful reminder of faith, sacrifice, and humanity beyond differences.

Remembrance is at the heart of what we do. Today, we pause to reflect on lives given in service to others, and the enduring example they left behind.
