Today we honor the brave men and women who served during the Vietnam War and recognize the sacrifices they and their families made for our country.

For many Vietnam veterans, the welcome home they deserved was long overdue. Today, and every day, we take a moment to say the words that should always have been said:

Welcome home, and thank you for your service.

We are deeply grateful for the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our Vietnam veterans. Their legacy of service continues to inspire our communities and our nation.

🇺🇸 Happy Birthday, American Legion! 🇺🇸
Since 1919, the American Legion has stood as a pillar of support for our nation’s veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Through service, advocacy, and community involvement, they continue to make a lasting difference.

Today, we honor the generations of men and women who have served our country, and the organizations that work tirelessly to support them.

“Only people who are capable of loving strongly can also suffer great sorrow, but this same necessity of loving serves to counteract their grief and heals them.”
— Leo Tolstoy

Grief is the price we pay for deep love. The depth of our sorrow reflects the depth of our connection. While loss can feel overwhelming, the very love that causes our pain is also what sustains us in memories, in stories, in the bonds that never truly break.

If you are carrying grief today, may you also feel the love that remains. And if you need support, a listening ear, or guidance, we are here for you.
