Periodically, we receive gifts from patients in forms of cards or cookies or handmade goods; all of which brings our office great joy as we try incredibly hard to care for those in need.
However, today’s gift came in a form in which we hold incredibly dear, as it was a prayer:

“Thank YOU, Lord for successful procedures that are performed by Doc and his TEAM. For You have gifted those involved with abilities far and above that which is needed to help others in need. May today be no different, Lord. Keep the “team” above all riff-raff that might otherwise interfere with those procedures. From the “simple” to the “difficult” may Your mighty hand guide and direct.

Lord I pray for a day of wisdom, peace, guidance and comfort in times needed throughout the day to each member of that team as they prepare for a holiday weekend, may they do so with reverence to the One who gave us this great Nation…those who sacrificed “all” in the name of FREEDOM. Among those freedoms was the freedom to worship the One who formed this Nation from the beginning. A Nation that recognized, first and foremost, YOU LORD, as the One whom they based the founding of this Nation upon.”
