Cataract and Eye Center was established in Cleburne By Steve G. Surratt, MD in 1993.

Since bringing small incision eye surgery to Cleburne, Dr. Surratt has performed over 12,000 cataract surgeries locally. Specializing in NO STITCH, he offers standard or multifocal lens implants and performs out-patient surgery at Texas Health Surgery Center Cleburne. Therapeutic optometrist, Dr. Lance Mitchel, also diagnoses and treats a variety of eye diseases. He offers comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and optical dispensary for the whole family.
