Just a reminder to slow down and be still even for 5 minutes. Did you know that the hurriedness and constant busyness creates havoc in our body and emotions? Anxiety or depression, increased stress and overwhelm, frustration, anger, and guilt, loneliness or hopelessness are all consequences of being on the constant go with no end in sight.
The physical consequences may include muscle tension and pain, restlessness or insomnia, headaches, inflammation, compromised immune function, fatigue, changes in s*x drive, digestive issues and cardiovascular disease.
While being busy is a way of life these days, being mindful of how we are feeling and knowing when to dial it back and prioritize our wellbeing will help us feel more balanced and equipped to handle life.
