Many ΦΣΚ chapters have held their charter for over 100 years, but a dedicated group of men from Johnstone came together to establish Phi Sigma Kappa at Clemson in 2005.
In under 20 years, our chapter has grown into one of the largest at the University and one of the largest ΦΣΚ chapters in the nation. But what is quantity without quality?
Two weeks ago, at the 150th Anniversary and National Convention, the Upsilon Septaton Chapter at Clemson was awarded the highest honor given the Fraternity: the Herbert L. Brown Outstanding Chapter Award.
Named after the distinguished alumnus, the award is given to the chapter that best embodies not only the Cardinal Principles but has received honors in all ten categories in the criteria:
- Recruitment
- Philanthropy
- Associate Member Education
- Campus Involvement
- Community Service
- Risk Management
- Communications
- Membership Excellence
- Scholarship
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We thank our Nationals for their support, our alumni for paving the way, and our undergrads for keeping the standard high to earn this prestigious award.
Damn Proud, let’s make it a habit.
