It’s Game Day! Who says tailgates can’t be tasty and good for you? Healthy snacks + hydration = game day energy. Consider turning nachos into a casserole. September is a month of seasonal transition for fruits and vegetables. A quick stroll through the market right now and you know it's September because you've got everything from first-of-fall apples to end-of-summer zucchini.
Fun tip: If there's any fruit that is the quintessential back-to-school/September/fall fruit, it's apples. You could just eat an apple out of hand or slice them and add them to dishes for their subtle sweetness and superb crunch.

This week, our team had the incredible opportunity to meet with leaders from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), including Director Dr. Jaye Hamby, Communications Director J. Faith Peppers, and Legislative & Stakeholder Affairs Officer Gary Mayo.

NIFA plays a vital role in advancing agricultural science to address societal challenges. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue working toward healthier, stronger communities. For more information: 🔗https://www.nifa.usda.gov/
