Your monthly rent includes three chef-prepared meals daily, transportation, exciting events and activities, and weekly housekeeping, so you can enjoy your retirement. Special holiday and themed events are held every month, including intellectual and cultural classes, creative art programs, refreshing garden soirees, energizing exercise workshops, and tasteful culinary experiences. Guests are always welcome to join us for events by registering by phone or online.

Assisting Hands We had a wonderful New Year's Eve filled with fun, friends, and good times! We had a casino royale to win big, that was spend at our prize table. A lovely dinner, and even Elvis joined us in the building to celebrate!

Earlier this week, we went to The Learning Experience - Clermont Hammock Ridge for a story and sing along session with the kids! The residents enjoyed seeing the littles and the children enjoyed meeting our residents. Thank you for having us! We look forward to our next visit and can't wait to see you all again soon!

A Very Patriotic Christmas at Orchard Heights! The residents voted on the theme this year for our gingerbread house, which will be on display during our Gingerbread Dessert Extravaganza on Dec 11th from 2-4! Red, white, & blue - Orchard Heights needs you!

Earlier this month, we hosted a pie-tasting event. From pumpkin to pecan, we had an array of choices on display after we finished lunch. Based on what was left, it's safe to say that the lemon was probably a resident favorite! Comment below what pie you would've liked to see up for grabs!

Yesterday, we celebrated Mickey Mouse's birthday by bringing the parks to the residents! Dole whips, virtual rides, a wonderland tea time, a barbershop quartet, and more! Many of our residents shared stories about their time working at Disney World. From a florist who focused on Disney weddings, to those who actually walked beside Walt Disney himself. Happy Birthday Mickey! May you continue to bring inspiration to younger generations and laughter to those who may not be able to enjoy the Disney wonders as they used to.

We always enjoy a happy hour with music, dancing, and delicious appetizers. Thank you to Rick Langolf for providing our residents with the nostalgic and upbeat music from all the way from the 40s & 50s to the 60s and 70s. The residents loved coming together to laugh, dance, and sing along.

Our Creepy Carnival was a huge success! Filled with cotton candy, games, prizes, and even a circus performance - our residents had a blast as we got into the spirit of Halloween! Thank you to all the vendors who helped pull off this event! Our community wouldn't be the same without you! We had everything from a Ring Toss Battle to the popular Halloween Hit.

Our health fair last week was a huge hit in our community! Thanks to everyone who came in and to CVS for providing our residents the opportunity to receive vaccines on-site. Even with multiple walk-ins, they kept the vaccine clinic running quickly. Residents were able to stop by each booth as they waited for their vaccines to be administered with some vendors providing services like walker sanitizations, build-your-own self care basket, and a raffle prize that went home with our sweet resident, Mary.

We had a wonderful Resident Art Show during our National Cheeseburger Day celebration on Thursday! Residents displayed their art throughout the building while a jazz musician played saxophone and various other instruments. We had an airbrush artist on site who took custom orders before the residents sat down to enjoy our gourmet cheeseburgers of choice. Once lunch was over, the residents were able to pick up their airbrush creations and view the artwork.

A big thank you to Encompass Health for sponsoring our musician and raffling off artwork for the residents to take home! A great event with all the fine details, from the dirty sodas & cider, to the branded burger buns- our Burger Bash was an absolute work of art!
