Tips!
Mask when at public places specially indoors
Get the boosters
Order free at home test from the government website.
Call the office as soon as you are sick or test positive.
Let’s evaluate your symptoms and risk of complications , We have treatment available in Paxlovid if started early enough.
Below is current status in Lake county. What bothers me is the increased hospitalization.
Take care of yourselves and all around you.

Dear Patients,
Just wanted to reach out to all of you. We had very good last 2 months in terms of covid infections. Unfortunately we are seeing an uptick in our community in the number of cases. Delta variant that originated in India and caused havoc with severe misery and a huge death toll, has become the dominant variant.
We are seeing younger people getting sicker with this variant and being hospitalized.
Vaccine hesitancy is the biggest factor.
If you are not vaccinated as yet, please think again . For your sake and for the sake of your community. If we don’t get enough people vaccinated, we cannot get away from Covid .
Try to talk to younger folks around you about getting vaccinated.
The risk of complications is minuscule compared to what can happen if you get covid.

Dear Patients,
I am so hopeful that we are going to beat this pandemic in few more months.
I am so proud of all of you for lining up amd waiting in lines to get your vaccination.
I want to say to those of you who are reluctant to get vaccinated, please talk to me. Let me know your concerns and maybe I can address them and you can make a more informed decision, instead of based on some conspiracy theory.

Hi guys!
So vaccination is in full swing. I am sure you all have questions about Johnson and Johnson vaccine on pause amd some questions about safety.
To start with , Covid infection itself is associated with so many deaths because of unexplained immune mediated processes.
We had six cases in women aged 18-48 that got a rare kind of clotting similar to heparin induced thrombocytopenia.
Considering the millions of doses already given, this is very close to having this equal to general population risk.
But since all six cases happened within a week of vaccination, it is being studied seriously.
If anything, this should increase our confidence in science and scientists.
Let’s beat it together.
