We are currently looking to expand our ever growing team. At South Lake Gastroenterology we take pride in our devotion to patient satisfaction. Which is why we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting walk-in interview days! During these day we will be screening candidates for potential same day hire. The dates are as follows:

7/9 - from 12pm- 4pm
7/16 - from 12pm - 4pm

We are excited to announce that we will be moving our Clermont Office to a new nearby location effective 03/29/2021.

We realize that change can be difficult, but we hope to make the transition as smooth as possible for you.

Happy June & Happy Father’s Day to all of the Dads!

June is going to be a busy month at South Lake Gastroenterology! We are cautiously reopening our doors to patients (in addition to offering TeleHealth visits) and planning our move to the new facility.

We are in Phase 1 of reopening in the State of Florida. Like many of you, we are constantly watching COVID-19 trends in our area. Our colleagues at Orlando Health report slight increases in cases over the past few weeks. So we encourage you to keep practicing suggested strategies to prevent the spread of the virus.

If you are coming to our office you will notice that we have made some changes to help keep patients and staff safe:

· We are limiting the number of patients that are allowed to come into the building at a time. When you arrive please call 352-242-1665 EXT. 2000 to let us know you are here.
· We are asking patients only inside the building. No guests.
· We are implementing a mandatory temperature check and COVID-19 screening questionnaire for all patient and staff prior to entry into our building.
· We are requiring all patients and staff wear masks.
· We installed barrier protectors in exam rooms.
· We are providing hand sanitizer in all areas.
· We are thoroughly cleaning each room after each patient.

Many of you are curious about our new facility. We have had a few delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic but continue to prepare to relocate to our new facility at 201 Mohawk RD Ste # 100 Minneola, Florida 34715 (on the corner of Mohawk Rd. and Citrus Tower Blvd). We are optimistic we will have the green light to move in the near future and will continue to keep you updated.

Hello Everyone.
Like you, we at South Lake Gastroenterology are closely monitoring the evolving situation with COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019). We want to reach out personally to let you know that your health and safety is our priority.

In order to meet your Gastroenterology needs, we continue to offer Telehealth visits. Additionally, we have strengthened our office infection control measures to allow for select In-Office visits. To schedule an appointment please contact us 352-242-1665, our staff will be happy to assist you.

As of May 4, 2020, Gov. DeSantis has allowed for phase 1 re-opening of our state; this includes elective procedures. Colonoscopies and Endoscopes can resume as well as In-Office procedures such as fibroscans and hemorrhoid banding. Our colleagues at the Ambulatory Services Centers are also taking measures to provide for your safety during this pandemic. COVID-19 screening requirements are being implemented at all facilities.

Over the past few weeks, you have all seen or heard much about the 2019 Novel Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
We recognize that situations such as this can create fear and anxiety and our best way to address that is through communication, education, and preparation.

Telemedicine and virtual care have quickly become important tools in caring for our patients while keeping them safe at home as the COVID-19 pandemic quickly evolves.

Our office is open to serve our patients through Telemedicine visits and office visits if needed.
