Elizabeth started her journey with us as an STNA and has officially passed her LPN exam! We are so proud of her hard work, dedication, and commitment to growing in her career.

'Tis The Season of Giving. We at Cedarwood Plaza want to thank all of those who participated in our "Season of Hope Giving Drive." From those who donated clothing, food and toys to those in need, and to the outside organizations that provided raffle baskets and prizes. We invite the community to come together during this holiday season in hopes to bring some relief and light to those who can use it the most. Partnering with The City Mission and Greater Cleveland Food Bank we are accepting donations of clothing, canned & dry food, toiletries, toys. Raffle tickets will be provided for each donated item for a chance to win gif/t baskets for those who participate. Donations will be accepted through December 19th, 2025. Cedarwood Plaza has another tenured employee we would like to celebrate! Tiesha has been serving our community for the last five years! Tiesha began her time with our facility as a Hospitality Aide back in 2020, then worked her way to CNA, Central Supply, and Activities Assistant. Tiesha says that she "Loves the residents and is here for them." She is a dedicated person by nature and always willing to jump in. Likewise, "The other employees help to keep the job fun and exciting". We are fortunate to have a wonderful crew member and look forward to many more years of service!

Today, we would like to celebrate 29 years of continual service from our Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, Darnese. Darnese started with the Legacy Healthcare Team back in 1996 at our sister facility, Pleasant Lake Villa. Since her arrival at Cedarwood Plaza in 2020, she has made a lasting impact on our Residents and team. Words from the wise on finding enjoyment over the years: "Patience, tolerance, kindness, teamwork, and keeping the faith have kept me here", "Appreciation, understanding, and respect keep us together and go a long way". Darnese would like to thank the team and her supporters over the lasting years. We, too, reciprocate and are happy that you are here!

The Cedarwood Plaza team would like to celebrate Autumn Allen! Autumn joined Legacy Health Services back in 2017 as an STNA, worked her way through the LPN program, and recently completed and passed the RN NCLEX.

Autumn offers words of encouragement to those who are looking to better themselves through education: "Ask Questions. Keep learning. Stay humble. Surround yourself with people who support you and follow what lights you up inside. Healthcare is a calling, selfless, powerful, and deeply human. You are the hands that heal, the eye that sees what others miss, and the voice that says, "You're not alone." There will be hard days. But there will also be quiet victories - and they matter. Take pride in them. Don't give up. You've got this." Autumn would also like to highlight and thank her mentor throughout the process, fellow team member Dani Dague RN; "She helped/trained/coached/supported me through all of my endeavors. I wouldn't be here without her."

Congratulations, Autumn, we're excited to watch your future continue to blossom!
