When it’s too cold to go outside, we can still build big skills through play!

✋🏼 Fine motor skills – picking up and placing small pom-poms
🤏🏼Pincer grasp – using fingertips instead of whole hand
💪🏽 Shoulder & upper body strength – working with arms raised on a vertical surface
🧠 Visual motor skills – coordinating eyes and hands
➡️ Crossing midline – reaching across the body to different snowflake arms
🎯 Bilateral coordination – one hand stabilizes, the other works
⏳ Attention & task persistence – kids stay engaged because it feels like play!
