Note to you:

Isolation is not loneliness. It’s purification. It’s purging the s**t that you’ve sucked up from the world and others. It’s an opportunity to recalibrate and connect back to core self. It’s a moment for a conversation to be had with you and your deepest self. To find the key that you keep swallowing.

Be intense, be wild, be a blue flame, a violet flame, be a tsunami, be the winds of change. Be still, be sweet, be loud, laugh from the bottom up. Let the hair raise on your skin. Close your eyes when it’s good to you. Throw up a 🖕🏾 when a person judges you from “what you should…” Be honey when it’s earned and sugar when you feel you need to be nice. Tear it the f**k down and rebuild until it feels right. Stand up to it, stand in it and when you catch it, dance to the rhythm that only you feel and let them watch you in awe or confusion. No one is asking for permission any more. It’s up. You coming over here? I’m going to love your shadows free. ✨🪞✨ Messy and imperfect.

I recently added the Dahlia to my favorite flower list.

I am completely mesmerized by the way they unravel into beautiful symmetry and color.
