This is where taking even one step, or action daily will solidify the TCM lifestyle practices and behaviors that will change the patterns and impact health outcomes. Making intentional choices to practice daily meditation, incorporate yoga, walk with mindfulness, or breathe slower to anchor the mind, body and spirit are all essential steps for successful integration of GLAM MAP into daily life. GLAM MAP A TCM Lifestyle Series. “M” is for MINDFULNESS. You can practice mindfulness daily by intentionally taking slow deep breaths, slowly sipping warm tea or coffee, adding mindfulness to your meditation sessions, and by simply becoming aware of your breath, surroundings, thoughts and actions throughout the day. GLAM MAP “M” is for Meditate. Follow one breath for one minute. You didn’t fail if you couldn’t be completely silent. The goal is to be focused & to acknowledge the need to refocus. Listen to your innermost thoughts. Sit- Meditate. Focus & remain present. Set a timer for one minute and focus only on breathing. Let me know what feelings and thoughts arise. 🪭

This is an excerpt from the ‘GLAM MAP” Series offered by AMZ Wellness. Let’s stretch together. “A” is for Alignment. Lengthen your spine, soften your shoulders, and feel the alignment from your feet to your crown. Take the deepest breath in through your nose for 3 seconds. Hold it for 1 second. Exhale from your mouth for 4 seconds. Then align and stretch again, finding the proper positioning of all the parts of your body. Share how great you feel, and journal what your mind, body and spirit feel like when you’re navigating life with proper alignment. glammap ☯️

The first step is to activate ‘rest & digest’. GLAM MAP can help improve focus, clarity and energy through grounding, listening, and nourishing rituals. G is for Grounding (30 seconds). Stand barefoot; feel the earth/floor; take 3 slow belly breaths. Listen to the cues from your body. Align: mind, body & spirit. Meditate & Mindfulness for one moment. Try it.
