Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Cocoa B.E.A.N.S. Community Baby Shower! In honor of Black Breastfeeding Week, we invite all new and expectant parents, to join us! This year, the theme is Revive. Restore. Reclaim! We want to take this time to lift up our community in a safe and loving way. 😷💕

There will be a FREE virtual educational event with prenatal, birth and breastfeeding education to help prepare you and your family for the arrival of your little one. As always, we will also be providing FREE items in TWO convenient locations in and around Charlotte. These include: baby clothes (0-12 months), maternity wear, breastfeeding items, diapers, wipes, resources and more! We will also have a few Big Ticket Items for a few lucky guests. Come and let us shower you! Expecting parent must be present.

A Mother Blessing is a ceremony that was inspired by an ancient Navajo ritual called Blessingway; created to spiritually support and empower the new mother for her journey of childbirth and motherhood. The purpose of the ceremony is dedicated to nurturing the mother and filling her cup, so it overflows with love and confidence as she awaits the impending birth of her baby.

A woman’s closest female friends and relatives gather in love to build up her mind, body, and soul in preparation for her journey, by spending time with her, sharing stories, addressing fears, leaving her bursting full of love, strength, confidence, and belief in the ability of her body to birth her baby.
