PART 2 WHAT IS AT THE ROOT OF PEOPLE-PLEASING?

A "people pleaser" is someone who prioritizes the needs of others above their own, often to an extent that can be detrimental to their own well-being. They may struggle to say "no," avoid conflict, and seek external validation to feel good about themselves. This behavior can lead to stress, resentment, and burnout.

A people pleaser mirrors others' desires, creating a self based on others' expectations, not their own, and an unconscious reshaping of their own!

YOU ARE NOT SLAVE OF MEN!
In 1 Corinthians 7:23, accessed via bible , the apostle Paul writes, "You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men". This is a call to spiritual freedom, urging believers to stand firm in the liberty Christ provides and not be controlled by human masters or societal expectations. It also underscores the believer's liberation from sin and the law, and the call to live under the lordship of Christ rather than human dictates.

Many of us grew up hearing the titles “God” and “Jesus”… but very few of us were ever taught the ancient names found in Scripture.

I just wrote a blog that explores those names — YHWH, Yahweh, Yahuah, Yahshua — with humility, Scripture, and absolutely no judgment.

My goal wasn’t to argue, but simply to understand… and to share what I’ve learned with an open heart. 💜
