So proud to partner with W-E Schools and their incredible Pre-Nursing students! We can't wait to welcome some of these amazing STNA's to our team! 🩺

🎉The Pre-Nursing students have been hard at work the first semester of senior year! They not only completed the NATCEP (Nurse Aide Training Competency Evaluation Program) and completed their clinical hours, but they also all passed their licensure exams!
🩺They came back from winter break all as STNAs ready to look for employment!
🏥Nicole Trem, the Director of Admissions and Marketing at The Winfield of Richmond Hts came in to speak with students about open STNA positions and set up a group interview day where the majority of students attended and were offered jobs! (Fun fact, Nicole is a graduate of the Pre-Nursing program.)
🤗Students of the program are eager and excited about the work placement option of the program where they can utilize their licensure in paid positions in the healthcare field rather than attending class.
Way to go Pre-Nursing students, we are so proud of them!

Yesterday we had our own staff version of the “Nailed It!” Tv show competition!

Participants had 45 minutes to replicate a cake design given to them. Who do you think “nailed it” the best? 🍰

What a magical few nights at The Winfield! ✨

We loved celebrating the season with three evenings of holiday parties with our residents and their families, live music, and a delicious spread including grape salad, seafood Newport linguine, vegetables, and cake.

Santa and his reindeer even made a special appearance!

Thank you to everyone who helped make these nights so joyful and memorable. 🎅🦌🎶

Today, we celebrate the remarkable career and lasting legacy of our beloved Activities Director, Susan.

Susan has been the heartbeat of The Winfield, the spark behind every celebration, the laughter echoing through the halls, and the gentle hand guiding so many residents and staff. Her creativity has turned simple moments into treasured memories, and her compassion has made The Winfield feel like home for countless families.

Through the years, Susan has touched lives in ways that words can hardly capture. She’s comforted residents in times of need, inspired her team to find joy in every day, and shown unwavering dedication to making life richer and more meaningful for everyone around her. Her influence will live on in the traditions she started, the programs she built, and the love she poured into this community.

As Susan begins her well-earned retirement, we celebrate the incredible mark she’s left behind — one of laughter, leadership, and heart. Though we’ll miss seeing her every day, her spirit will forever be part of The Winfield family. 💚
