I want to improve my health. Where do I start?
Tracking and increasing your water intake is a great first step!
The general rule is to drink half your body weight in ounces of pure filtered water.

Did you know that our brain and heart are over 70% water?
Our blood is over 90% water!

Staying hydrated supports our bodies ability to:
- maintain a healthy heart and blood pressure
- regulate body temperature
- lubricate joints
- flush toxins from our body
- prevent constipation
- prevent kidney stones
- produce energy
- reduce headaches
- improve brain function … just to name a few!

Did you know that over 40% of adults are deficient in Vitamin D?

Vitamin D deficiency is one of the most chronic nutrient deficiencies with the easiest solution!

Vitamin D is a very inexpensive nutrient to test and can be remedied by daily supplementation.

When choosing a D3 supplement (cholecalciferol) be sure that it includes K2 to support calcium absorption.

Vit D is also a fat soluble vitamin and is best absorbed when taken with a meal which includes healthy fats.

Creating new habits and lifestyle changes can feel overwhelming.

I frequently encourage my clients to come up with one small step at the beginning of their health journey that they can easily attain.

DO YOU KNOW WHICH ROAD YOU ARE ON?

Early on in my coaching sessions, I always ask my clients to craft a Vision Statement which describes their long term goals for their optimal health and well-being.

Before we can start working on a roadmap together, we must first know our destination.

Without establishing a destination, it is unlikely you will arrive where you ultimately hope to be.

Life can be full of detours which can delay or prevent us from attaining our goals.

Arriving at our destination requires intentionality and putting in the right coordinates.

As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, I would be happy to come alongside you as you navigate your individualized path to achieving your goals!

I recently celebrated a milestone birthday and have been challenged as I have taken the time to formulate my vision for what I would like to accomplish in my "senior years". This includes both long and short term goals for renewed faith, purpose, strength, endurance, and health.

I realize that this will take intentionality, discipline, and accountability with others.

MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY is very common and is also very easy to correct with the correct foods and supplements.
When choosing a supplement, I suggest avoiding magnesium oxide. It is poorly absorbed and causes stomach upset.

This is an excellent 9 minute video by Dr. Gupta explaining the signs of magnesium deficiency and the foods which can help to boost your levels.
